Have you ever wondered why eagles always nest at the very top? Perhaps to stay far from the noise of the world below, perhaps to take in everything at a single glance… The rock that gave its name to these ridges, at around two thousand meters in the Köroğlu Mountains, was, judging by that name, “eagle rock,” once the haunt of eagles; today, when winter comes, people too follow the eagles’ lead and climb to these heights.
