Mount Erek

Looking at Van, you feel seated at a table ringed by mountains: Süphan to the northwest, Artos to the southwest, Erek to the east… For centuries these mountains around the lake have faced one another, yet none can step even an inch closer. People, meanwhile, meet on the plain between them, run into each other in the bazaars, gather around breakfast tables… So who sits down first at this table each morning?
