Which season do you wait for to go up to a highland pasture? In the East there is only one answer: that short summer when the snow retreats from the mountain and the grass turns green… Korhan Plateau, on the northern foot of Mount Ağrı, likewise spends most of the year patiently under snow, then for a few months welcomes flocks, tents and the barking of sheepdogs.
