Imagine walking into a sculptor’s workshop and finding every piece left half-finished… On the bench, a lion whose mane has emerged but whose body still sleeps in the stone, a sphinx with a face but not yet a body, a mountain god waiting in rough outline. It is as if the master stepped out for a moment and never came back. So what happens when that “moment” stretches past three thousand years? Then you get Yesemek… On this basalt hill on the slopes of Kurt Mountain, hundreds of sculptures still wait to be finished.
