Lake Ladik & Akdağ

Picture a town set on the shore of a lake, at the foot of a mountain; snow in winter, birds in summer, the bounty of the plain in spring… Ladik is one of the rare places that offers all of this at once. Places where you can take in mountain, lake and plain in a single glance don’t come along very often. So where does this town’s name come from?
