Kapulukaya Dam

On the steppe, water is greeted like a miracle. Those who see for the first time that wide blue expanse appearing suddenly among the yellow hills south of Kırıkkale can hardly believe their eyes… So where did this lake come from? In truth the lake is new, but its water belongs to one of Anatolia’s most ancient travelers: the Kızılırmak.
