Imagine a painter drawing a fish on a rock; not on a canvas, not on paper, but directly on a rock at the edge of the sea… In 1974, Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu did exactly that at Taşyaka, one of the coves of Göcek. A colorful, curving fish, as if it had climbed out of the sea to stretch out on the rock and sunbathe… So many years have passed; the fish is still there, its colors a little faded, but still swimming on without having lost any of its cheer.
