What does a river find at the end of its journey? Ask the Sakarya, and its answer would begin with the story of a road more than eight hundred kilometers long… Winding its way down from the uplands of Eskişehir, the Phrygian valleys and the narrow gorges of Bilecik, the river at last meets the Black Sea at Karasu. And where they meet, it leaves behind a broad delta and a beach stretching for kilometers.
