Karaca Cave

Asked the color of darkness, most of us would answer “black” without hesitation. Yet those who enter a cave in the mountains of Gümüşhane abandon that answer when they find a thousand and one shades of white, red and yellow hidden within the dark… So who painted these colors in a place the sun never visits?
